Meg & Burke's engagements : Downtown Grapevine

I love all of Meg's clothing and prop choices for their engagement session! This couple has so much love and energy, it's just contagious. They are what my Grandma would call "spunky" and I love them dearly! They tied the knot just last weekend and I CAN'T WAIT to share their pictures! In the mean time...

Jenny & Brandon: Engagements in Grapevine

Jenny and I first met in 2007 at her friends' wedding. We've since seen each other at 3 subsequent weddings for various friends and family... several referred to me directly by Jenny! This girl was referring me and I hadn't even photographed her wedding! Needless to say, I was so excited when I received the call that it was now Jenny's turn to walk that aisle!

Congrats Jenny and Brandon, you two are so wonderful. I just loved getting to know you better and documenting the fabulous relationship you have together!

Abby & Will's engagements: St. Louis

Abby & Will choose to fly me up to St. Louis for their engagement session last month. While Will and Abby are from Texas and Oklahoma, respectively, they really felt like they began their lives as a couple while in St. Louis. We had such a blast traveling from place to place and learning about the parts of town that meant so much to them!

You guys have such an amazing story together and I can't wait to document the next chapter in August 2012!!

Jessica & Jim's engagements: Lake Grapevine

I love that Jessica and Jim were willing to tromp around Lake Grapevine in order to find the perfect secluded spot for pictures! The said they wanted something more outdoorsy with an away-from-it-all feel and I had the perfect place in mind. Forget the fact that I neglected to tell them beforehand that we'd be walking almost 1/2 mile to get there. :) Either way they were game and I'm so glad they were!

Congrats guys, can't wait til October! :)

 

Karla & Brian's engagements at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington

Karla & Brian are getting married later this year outside of town and asked us to do their engagements locally so they could focus on one of their favorite places... the Rangers Ballpark! While we couldn't get inside we used the exterior as well as the amazing parks surrounding the ballpark.

I loved getting to know you guys better! Thanks for laughing and playing with us that day and congrats on the wedding!

Jennifer & Andrew were referred to us from a past couple (Heather & Paul) and we could not be more pleased that they hired us! We had such a blast on their session... so many great laughs and some primo "get-to-know-you" time!

Kelly & Tim's engagements: Downtown Dallas

Kelly & Tim's session was a first for me... I typically check the weather right before a session if there is a chance of rain, which there was the day Kelly, Tim, and I got together. So I left the house, nothing on the radar. By the time I got to downtown the clouds opened up! We stood under a covering in the pouring rain next to the beautiful downtown park we'd intended to use and hatched a back-up plan which involved the inside of Kelly's apartment building and the covered walkways of the West End. Fortunately it stopped raining after about 30 minutes and we were able to venture outside. I love that it made us use some unexpected areas and Kelly & Tim were game for any ideas I had!
