Lauren's Bridals - Flippen Park and Turtle Creek

Lauren & Frank were married yesterday at Robert Carr Chapel and City Club so now I can show off her bridal session. I had been anticipating this wedding for quite some time and could hardly wait to see them tie the knot!

Lauren's dress for her bridals was drop-dead gorgeous and so much fun to photograph. Enough chatter, on with the show...

Kelly & David - private backyard wedding

Kelly & David were married in an intimate ceremony in their friends backyard, surrounded by only their children. It was just perfect! Personal, intimate, meaningful, family filled, and joyful! Congrats you two and thank you for letting me share in your day!

They gave their daughters beautiful necklaces with their initials on them.

I think she likes it.

Helping her Mom help her get the necklace on.

Loved the girls expressions as their parents take their vows...

Brides of North Texas fashion spread PART II

As is expected, we photographed a ton for the recent Brides of North Texas feature "Ladies & Gents" and much of it went unused. However, there were so many great ideas, fabulous outfits, and beautiful locations, that we just couldn't keep it under wraps. Enjoy some of these additional shots that didn't make it into the magazine and for more, check out the magazine and their website: www.bridesofnorthtexas.com

PUBLISHED: Brides of North Texas fashion spread

We were recently approached by the publishers of The Brides of North Texas magazine about collaborating on a never-been-done fashion concept for their most recent issue. Of course, we said "Heck yeah!" Their idea was to bring together complimenting bridesmaids and groomsmen attire in one shoot. Typically, focus is on one or the other but these ladies really wanted to show how you can use fashion to bring everyone together! The feel was to be really documentary and fun, not just smiling and modeling for the camera... just my style!

A big thank you to the Brides of North Texas for trusting my with their concept, our amazing models for putting up with my endless instructions, and the phenomenal stylists that brought the glamour. Enjoy...

Joleen & Phillip: Hackberry Creek Country Club

Joleen and Phillip took advantage of our Mini Coverages for their small wedding at the beautiful Hackberry Creek Country Club in July. I just love their classic style and Town & Country feel in their details. They were even up for a few outside portraits despite the awful heat! Congratulations you guys! I loved meeting your amazing families... you two are truly blessed.

Joleen reads a sweet letter from her very-soon-to-be-groom

Joleen's grandma popped in to see the bride. I love how much emotion can be relayed in a single touch

All the men gather in prayer before the ceremony

Phillip watches his beautiful bride approach

I don't remember what was said, but I love the reaction!

"I now pronounce you husband and wife.... you may kiss the bride."

Genuine smiles of happiness as they leave the ceremony

An unexpected "dip"

Magazine worthy...

Fabulous up-lighting by Specialty Sound

First dance

Joleen's dad had so much to say in his toast, they joked he was "filibustering"!

Some serious cake-cutting dedication

After the cake cutting, Joleen's dad surprised them with a sweet and emotional slideshow

There were some funny moments too

Everyone laughed a little and cried a little

a Dance-Off ensues

A worthy opponent
