Charla & Joe

Charla and Joe were married last weekend at the Piazza in the Village in Colleyville. Thanks to the staff I really think the day went off without a hitch, at least none that I saw! The bride was radiant, the groom was nervous, the guests were exuberant... and you'll just have to check out their slideshow in a couple weeks to see the replica Dallas County Fire Engine groom's cake. It was awesome! Yep, it was a perfect day.

View their slideshow after Nov 2nd: www.simple-moments.com/ccjh

Charla and Joe's "first sight"

The brides youngest sister, not so enthralled...

I introduce to you for the first time...

The aforementioned youngest sister thought for sure the father-daughter dance meant her too.

Heck yeah, we made it through the WHOLE chicken dance!

Off they go...
Congrats guys. Hope you are having a great honeymoon!

Baby Thomas...

Baby Thomas is our most recent Wee Baby. He was born in April and I photographed his newborn session when he was only two weeks old! He was a natural in front of the camera... after an hour of shooting, he had only required one break! What a trooper.
Hope he's this easy for all his Wee Baby sessions...

Chandra & Michael's wedding

Chandra and Michael planned one of the most elaborate Delaney Vineyards weddings. The decor was amazing and it really felt like they had thought of everything! The atmosphere was earthly and elegant, but also very inviting and 'down-home'.

Funny story, it wasn't until after Chandra called to book that we realized Michael's last name was my maiden name.Long story short, Michael and I turned out to be second cousins... west Texas relatives on my Dad's side.I even got to see some family at the wedding I haven't seen for at least a decade. It was certainly a first for me.
